CANTOPEXY

Canthoplasty is a surgical procedure that involves modifying the position of the corner or lateral edge of the lower eyelid. Usually, canthoplasty is performed to elevate the lateral corner of the eye after the fall that occurs due to age or after surgery that affects the eyelids.

Once the incision is made, the surgeon lifts the corner of the lower eyelid to the lateral rim of the orbit. In some cases, it is necessary to remove the excess skin that remains in the region. After relocating the corner of the eye and removing excess skin, the surgeon performs the suture with absorbable or non-absorbable stitches.

“FOX EYES”

Foxy eyes have gained popularity among celebrities and few people get this eye shape just with good genetics.

The procedure is the sharp elevation of the eyebrow tail, causing an elongated and almond shape, that is, “pulling” the eyes latero-superiorly. In technical terms: we cause an oblique angulation of the lateral corner of the eyes so that they are higher than the medial corner and to achieve this look some procedures are used such as canthopexy and lateral suspension of the eyebrows
